All you’ll need on an African Safari

African Safari Title 2

We recently had the privilege of going on a Safari, such a treat because It was the first time I would see the Big Five in my own country! ( How sad , I have seen them In Singapore and South Korea!) Because I went with two guys, My husband and a friend, I was given very little time to pack and limitations on my packing (because we were only staying over for one night). So all I was able to take was a little black makeup bag filled with a couple of necessities!

African Safari Product

These were the lucky items that I managed to fit into my tiny makeup bag: Revlon Photoready BB Cream My new favourite. It is a lightweight beauty balm with multiple benefits, It covers like a foundation and has a SPF of 30. I thought it would be necessary and easy incase we got stuck in the middle of something like the Serengetti with the sun pelting down on us. Little did I know it would be absolutely freezing cold with very little sun! I also packed in my Inglot Freedom system Concealer palette for quick touch ups.

My favourite Mascara Maxfactor False lash Effect Black which is So neccessary for every day, obviously made the cut! I love this Mascara, I does everything a mascara should do. It lifts and thickens and really does give the illusion of false lashes. Of course my Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream Skin Protectant featured in my makeup bag as always. It is a product I will not live without. Helps protect, soothe and moisturise skin. It provides anti-inflammatory benefits and is perfect for dry winter lips.

Accesorize Intense Colour Lip gloss in Zest really came in handy to brighten up my bundu-bashing natural look. MAC Sheertone powder blush in “Peaches” is always with me, paired with my Benefit Kabuki brush for easy application.
