Mascara in my opinion is the secret to finishing off a beautiful makeup look. With so many mascaras on the market, it is indeed challenging trying to find a great mascara that works amazingly and is affordable , considering the fact that your mascara should be replaced every 3 months. 1. Bobbi Brown Smoky Eyes Mascara : Definitely a favourite favourite of mine. This mascara pleasantly surprised me. I did not expect it to be amazing at all. But Wow. This mascara has a petite brush, but gives a phenomenal amount of length and volume. I love the fact that the brush is little, so there is less chance of smudging mascara on to your eye lid, and you can get up close and personal with the roots of your lashes.

2. Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara : Once again a Mascara I did not expect much from, but when I tried it I absolutely loved it. It really give the effect of False lashes. When wearing this mascara, I have often been asked if those are my own lashes. This Mascara gives a great lift from the root and serious volume. It is also reasonably priced. The brush is fairly wide so it requires a little bit of a mascara technique 😉

3. Essence I Love Extreme Mascara: This Mascara is my latest find! A real bargain and it works amazingly well. When I found out that this mascara's brush closely resembles one of the MAC mascaras, I was intrigued and had to try it out! For full and thick lashes at a great price, this mascara is a winner.

4. Maxfactor Wild Mega Volume Mascara: I tried this mascara because it was slightly cheaper than False Lash Effect and I figured that it seems Maxfactor make great mascaras so why not give it a shot! I have bought this mascara about three times in a row now and I have loved using it. The shape of the brush helps to amplify the inner and outer corner lashes.
