With October being Cancer awareness month and having had various people close to us being diagnosed or having lost the battle to CANCER... I jumped on board my mom's idea of wanting to do a Cuppa for Cansa Tea Party.
It was a wonderful success, a tea party picnic in the park with 28 very special ladies . My mom had organised a speaker from the Cansa organisation, who is a cancer survivor herself, to share her story. We spent the afternoon eating cake and drinking tea under the beautiful trees. We were also very privileged to have been a given an amazing sponsorship of Catrice nail varnishes in every shade of pink that went into a goodie bag for each lady who had attended. Two ladies were lucky enough to have won amazing hampers of beauty products generously sponsored by Lancome.
What a special day raising awareness for such a worthy cause, Cannot wait for next year!
